Reporting basis
Per-share figures are shown on a continuing-operations basis consistent with the most recent investor presentation. ROFE and ROE are reported from F2018 onwards, the period for which comparable figures have been disclosed. ROIC is shown throughout (F2016–F2025): F2016 and F2025 are confirmed from Bidcorp's H1 F2026 investor presentation (slide 30); intermediate years are interpolated from the returns chart trendline (slide 21). Historical figures may differ from original audited reports due to subsequent restatements (notably the F2018 classification of UK logistics as a discontinued operation). For original audited figures, see individual annual reports in the reports archive.
ROFE – what we measure
Bidcorp uses return on funds employed (ROFE), excluding freehold properties, as its primary measure of capital efficiency. ROFE calculates trading profit as a percentage of the capital invested in operating the business. ROFE has grown by 600 basis points since listing, reflecting management's effectiveness in generating returns while growing.
